Pandemic Life

A note from the artist:

Drawing has always been a casual past time of mine but throughout the pandemic drawing has played a more significant role; helping me untangle thoughts, express emotions, and connect with others in a visual way. The visual art piece submitted in conjunction with this letter is a drawing I created to express the way in which everyday life has changed since the eruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. From the toilet paper shortages and panic buying, to mask mandates and temperature check, this drawing reveals a shared experience of the last two years, and is intended to serve as a unifying image that people can commiserate over.
