Quinton Callihan

Quinton Callihan graduated from Batavia High School in 2016, and took a year off before attending the University of Cincinnati Clermont. He hopes to one day publish a book that will change the way that people look at the world around them.

Tim Combes

I am an English Major at UC Clermont and plan to either transfer away or transition to main campus next fall to pursue creative writing. I am currently a Staff Writer for The Lantern at UC Clermont and an English/Writing tutor in the Learning Center. I am also Young Life leader at West Clermont High School. I hope to pursue writing in some form as a vocation, preferably writing fiction, poetry, comedy, journalism, or all of the above.

Ashley Otero

My name is Ashley. I graduated high school a year early. I am working three jobs at the moment. I have been writing for two years now. I am a psychology major at Uc Clermont. I love expressing myself in a form of poetry. Poetry makes me feel complete. I want my words to reach people and help them.  Thank you again for the opportunity.

Katherine Schoolfield

Graduate of McNicholas High School. Took Art classes all four of my high school years including drawing, and ceramics. Currently a Freshmen at UC Clermont. Next semester, I will be in the Pre-Pharmacy program. I am the middle child of seven children. Two boys and five girls (including myself). Hobbies are watching old movies, reading mythology and meeting new people.

Gabriella Sizemore

I'm an English major who has plans to become a writer of some sort. I will be starting my sophomore year in the spring of 2018 because I started a semester late. I would like, as we all would, to make an impact on the world somehow.

Melissa Uhran

I am currently enrolled in two associates programs one of them being Marketing and the other one being Business Management. From then I will be continuing on to get my Bachelors in Technical Applied Studies at UC East. I enjoy the art behind marketing but wish that there was a way to get rid of the imagery of body standards in the media for both men and women. I believe that younger generations are being forced to inhale these standards and therefore lose their childhood and innocence. This is the message I try to portray in my drawing and poem from a girl's perspective.

Jasmine Warner

I'm currently an English Literature major at Clermont, but I have a deep rooted passion for photography. This is my first time submitting my images to a literary journal.  I hope they make you smile!

Guy Zimmerman

I have been taking courses and helping out in the fine art and geology areas for the past four years. I've been a serious photographer since the mid 1960's; my digital art is created from original photographs taken at local and national parks around the country. My interest in rocks has lead me to become a gem faceter and cabber for the past forty years. Before retiring, my career was working on jet engine components as a Senior Data Systems Specialist at General Electric.
